Linda Wang, violin
A native of New York City, now residing in Los Angeles, LINDA WANG is among the premier young violinists of our time, consistently praised for her artistry, warm, singing tone and charismatic performances.
Since her debut with Zubin Mehta and the New York Philharmonic at the age of nine, Linda Wang has performed throughout the United States with orchestras in California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Oregon. South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. She has also been the guest soloist with Sir Georg Solti and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival Orchestra, Salzburg Chamber Orchestra, Paris Sinfonietta, Germany's Sächsische Kammerphilharmonie Dresden and Philharmonisches Orchester des Vogtland and The Czech Republic's Southern Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom she toured.
Linda Wang's solo concerts have taken her to New York City's Carnegie Hall, Amsterdam's Beurs van Berlage and the Berlin Schauspielhaus. Festival appearances include those of Aspen, Norfolk, Savannah, Canada's Orford Centre d'Arts, Mexico's San Miguel de Allende, Italy's Festival of Two Worlds (Spoleto), Japan's Okhust, England's Aldeburgh Festival, the Holland Music Sessions and Austria's Salzburg Festival.
Domestic and international audiences have seen Linda Wang's televised performances on PBS, Arts and Entertainment, Germany's ZDF and Japan's NHK, while radio broadcasts include NPR's "Performance Today, WQXR (New York City), WFMT (Chicago), KMozart and KKGO (Los Angeles), MDR (Germany), Leipzig Rundfunk and Deutschland Radio, Berlin.
Linda Wang studied at The Juilliard School (Pre-College Division) and the University of Southern California. Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, she pursued advanced studies at the famed Salzburg Mozarteum. Her principal teachers have been Dorothy DeLay, Alice Schoenfeld and Ruggiero Ricci.
Linda Wang performs on two extraordinary violins, a 1767 J.B. Guadagnini and a 1714 Antonio Stradivari, on gracious loan from its owner. She also continues as a Touring Artist of the California Arts Council.

Mirsa Adami, piano
Mirsa Adami was born in 1975 in Tirana, Albania, where her mother gave her her first piano lessons when she was five years old. She continued her studies under the tuition of Elsa Veizi at the "Jordan Misja" music lyceum in Tirana.
From 1986 on she regularly gave recitals and played with several orchestras in Albania In 1990 she won the first prize in a youth competition in Stresa, Italy and played a year later in the Doelen hall in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
She started her studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in The Netherlands under the tuition of Jan Wijn in 1993.
In 1995 she played the Pianoconcert of Ravel in G with "Sinfonieta Jong Nederland" conducted by Roland Kieft and played at the piano marathon of the Prinsengracht Festival in Amsterdam and at the Interfest Bitola in Macedonia in 1996.
She took masterclasses with Vladimir Tropp, Georgy Sebok, Eugen Indjic, Lee Kum Sing, John Perry, John O' Connor, Marie-Françoise Bucquet and Leon Fleischer.
In 1998 she graduated with a teaching diploma at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
In 1999 she won a scholarship from Yamaha, played the Piano Concert of Schumann in Germany and Switserland and gave a concert in the Eglise St. Merry in Paris, France.
Mirsa graduated as a Second Phase soloist at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2000 and in the same year was chosen during the Summer Academy by Holland Music Sessions as musician of the year. She is very active as a soloist performer as well as in chamber music and will continue her studies at Ton Hartsuiker in the Netherlands as well as with Eugen Indjic in Paris.
Being a participant before, evolved in a professional musician now, she joins the Holland Music Sessions as a piano accompanist.

Marie-Stéphanie Janecek, cello
Née en 1980, Marie-Stéphanie Janecek commence le violoncelle à lâge de 7 ans. Elle débute sa formation auprès de Denis Guy avant dentrer dans la classe de Mineo Hayashi au Conservatoire de Lausanne. Elle poursuit sa formation auprès de Ivan Monighetti à la Musikhochschule de Bâle.
En 1996, Marie-Stéphanie Janecek est remarquée en remportant le Premier Prix au Concours Suisse de Musique pour la Jeunesse, ainsi que le Premier Prix au Concours internationale de Stresa en Italie. Le Conservatoire de Lausanne lui décerne également plusieurs prix.
Marie-Stéphanie Janecek donne plusieurs récitals et concerts dans le cadre du Conservatoire, de la Croix-Rouge, de lAssociation Espérance, ainsi que lors de masterclasses.
Elle participe au Festival Tibor Varga en Suisse auprès de Daniel Grosgurin, aux Rencontres de lAcadémie Menuhin (Suisse) auprès de la Camerata Lysy, au Festival de Flaine (France) et au Festival de Lübeck (Allemagne) auprès de Gary Hoffmann, au Festival Holland Music Sessions et aux masterclasses de Koblenz (Allemagne) auprès de Ivan Monighetti, ainsi quau 10. Elle joue lors des Internationale Musik Festtage Bohuslav Martinu avec lorchestre de chambre nord hongrois Miskole sous la direction de Laszlo Kovacs.
En mars 1999, Marie-Stéphanie Janecek interprète le 1er sextet de Brahms avec, au premier violon, Pierre Amoyal, puis avec Gary Hoffmann.
Elle est également auditionnée par Mstilav Rostropovitch qui lui conseille de participer à son prochain concours à Paris. Elle joue sous la direction du Maestro au pied du Brandenburgertor à Berlin en lhonneur des dix ans de la chute du mur.
Lorsde la rencontre de la Europäische Musikakademie Bonn, elle est choisie pour enregistrer le CD Musical Talents of Europe (Vol. VII) avec la Deutsche Welle.

Sarkis Baltaian, piano
Sarkis Baltaian, emerging as one of the most promising young pianists of his generation, has gained an international reputation as a concert pianist, soloist, chamber musician and recording artist. Praised by critics for his "beautiful tone and ability to project even the most delicate pianissimos" and compared to George Gershwin and Oscar Levant for his performance of Gershwin's Concerto in F, Mr. Baltaian made his Carnegie Hall Debut in 1999 and has performed extensively throughout the United States, Germany, Austria, Holland, Czech Republic and Bulgaria. He has frequently appeared as a soloist with various orchestras including USC Thornton Symphony, American Youth Symphony, Plovdiv, Pleven, Sliven Philharmonics, Sofia Soloist Orchestra (Bulgaria), to name a few. Together with his sister violinist Aroussiak Baltaian, he has been featured as a guest artist at the 1999 Los Angeles Philharmonic International Gala and also appeared at the 2000 World Piano Pedagogy Convention in Las Vegas.
Mr. Baltaian is the 1999 winner of the USC Piano Concerto Competition. He is also a Grand prize winner of the Armenian Allied Arts Association Competition, the "Young Piano Virtuosi" International Competition in the Czech Republic and the "Svetoslav Obretenov" National Competition in Bulgaria. His festival appearances include the Aspen International Music Festival, Holland Music Sessions and Plovdiv International Chamber Music Festival. Mr. Baltaian has made numerous recordings for Television and Radio Stations in the United States, Holland, Czech Republic and Bulgaria. He has been featured in live radio broadcasts on KUSC "Sundays at Four", Los Angeles, WMFT's "Dame Myra Hess" series in Chicago, KNPR Classical series, Las Vegas.
Sarkis Baltaian, of Armenian descent was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and began to study piano at the age of four with Rositza Ivancheva at the "Dobrin Petkov" Music School. Awarded a merit scholarship from the University of Southern California and grants from AGBU-New York and USC Friends of Armenian Music, he continued his education at USC where he received the Bachelor and Masters of Music Degrees and became the Outstanding Graduate of the Keyboard Department. His principal teacher has been John Perry and he has also worked with various musicians such as Sergiu Commisiona, Larry Livingston, Alan Remington, Vasil Kazandjiev, Emile Naumov, Karl-Ulrich Schnabel, Gyorgy Sandor, Menahem Pressler, John O'Connor, Germaine Muniet, Lee Kum-Sing, Edna Golandsky, Nina Scolnik, Milton Stern, Sergei Dorensky, Dmitri Bashkirov. Currently, Mr. Baltaian is serving as the Teaching Assistant to Professor John Perry at the University of Southern California.
